Deadline to Request Claiming Crown Eligibility is Friday, Oct. 23
Horsemen: Reminder that the deadline to make horses eligible for the Claiming Crown is this Friday, October 23. Cost is $250 per horse per event to be eligible to run in the nine-race Claiming Crown on Saturday November 14 at Churchill Downs.
Payment can be sent through your horsemen’s account at Churchill Downs, credit card or check payable to Churchill Downs.

Kent Stirling Memorial Iron Horse (for horses 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $8,000 or less lifetime), 1 1/16 miles on dirt. Purse: $100,000 plus additional $10,000 KTDF.
Ready’s Rocket Express (for horses 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $8,000 or less lifetime), six furlongs on dirt. Purse: $100,000 plus additional $10,000 KTDF.
Glass Slipper (for fillies and mares 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $12,500 or less in 2025-26), mile on dirt. Purse: $100,000 plus additional $10,000 KTDF.
Empress (for fillies & mares 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $16,000 or less in 2025-26), six furlongs on dirt. Purse: $100,000 plus additional $10,000 KTDF.
Rapid Transit (for horses 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $16,000 or less in 2025-26), seven furlongs on dirt. Purse: $125,000 plus additional $15,000 KTDF.
Tom Metzen Memorial Canterbury (for horses 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $25,000 or less in 2025-26), 5 1/2 furlongs on turf. Purse: $150,000 plus additional $20,000 KTDF.
Tiara (for fillies and mares 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $25,000 or less in 2025-26), 1 1/16 miles on turf. Purse: $150,000 plus additional $20,000 KTDF.
Emerald (for horses 3yo&up that have started for a claiming price of $25,000 or less in 2025-26), 1 1/16 miles on turf. Purse: $175,000 plus additional $20,000 KTDF.
