Kentucky Derby Launches Official Ticket Resale Marketplace

The Kentucky Derby has partnered with Ticketmaster to launch the Kentucky Derby Ticket Exchange as the official fan to fan resale marketplace for Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks and Churchill Downs Racetrack tickets.

As the Derby’s only authorized resale platform, the legitimacy of tickets purchased through the Kentucky Derby Ticket Exchange is guaranteed. The Kentucky Derby encourages fans seeking to resell or buy resold tickets to only do so through Ticket Exchange.

Ticketholders who are unable to attend the Kentucky Oaks or Derby will be able to sell their tickets at face value or above using various pricing options and be assured that they meet all state and local regulations on ticket sales. Ticket buyers can be assured of the legitimacy of their tickets. The Kentucky Derby Ticket Exchange is completely integrated with the Derby’s Ticketmaster software and uses barcode verification to ensure the authenticity of the tickets.

Ticketmaster’s privacy rules provide anonymity for and prevent any interaction between the buyer and seller.
